The Foundation
Weekend

Three days. Five stations. One weekend that gives a man back to himself — and back to God.

Before You Read Any Further

This is not a retreat for men who have it together.

If you're reading this page, something happened. Your marriage ended or is ending. The life you built looks different than you thought it would. You may be angry, numb, ashamed, or all three at once.

You don't have to have answers to come here. You don't have to be past it. You don't have to be okay.

The Foundation Weekend is built for men in the middle of it — and for men on the other side who never got to stop and breathe.

"You did not break. You sharpened."

— Stonebreaker Ministries
What This Weekend Is Not

Setting expectations straight.

  • Not a support group. You won't sit in a circle and share feelings for 72 hours. This is active, purposeful, and structured.

  • Not therapy. We don't replace counselors. We give you something counseling can't — brotherhood, wilderness, and encounter with God.

  • Not a lecture series. You won't sit in a chair while someone talks at you. You'll move through five stations on 88 acres.

  • Not a vacation. It will be real. Some of it will be hard. All of it will be worth it.

The Weekend

Friday evening through Sunday noon.

Every Foundation Weekend begins the first week of the month. What happens inside those three days is designed to move a man through five dimensions of his restoration.

Day One

Friday Evening
Arrival & The Forge

  • 4:00 PMCheck-in. Cabin assignment. No agenda yet — just arrival.
  • 6:30 PMCommunity dinner at Trinity Lodge. First meal together.
  • 8:00 PMOpening session: The Forge. Faith under pressure. What still holds.
  • 10:00 PMFire pit. Open conversation. No program — just men and fire.
Day Two

Saturday
The Heart of the Weekend

  • 7:00 AMSunrise prayer walk. Solo. The land speaks first.
  • 8:30 AMBreakfast. The Weaver's Loom: Perseverance and the threefold cord.
  • 10:30 AMThe Water: Brotherhood station. Side by side — what men carry alone.
  • 2:00 PMThe Cross: Legacy session. Letters to your children.
  • 7:00 PMDinner and testimony. Men who've been through it speak.
  • 9:00 PMCampfire. Communion. Rest.
Day Three

Sunday Morning
Purpose & Sending

  • 8:00 AMBreakfast. Final morning together.
  • 9:30 AMTrinity Lodge: Purpose session. The next chapter — not the last one.
  • 11:00 AMClosing ceremony. Each man receives his stone.
  • NoonDeparture. Not the same man who arrived Friday.
The Framework

Five pillars. Five stations.
Every dimension of a man's restoration.

01
Faith
The Forge

Where belief gets tested and retempered. A man's faith doesn't survive divorce untouched — it either hardens into something brittle, or it gets worked into something stronger.

02
Perseverance
The Weaver's Loom

Ecclesiastes 4:12 — a threefold cord is not quickly broken. This station is about what holds when everything else is cut loose. Faith, brotherhood, and legacy woven together.

03
Brotherhood
The Water

Men were not built to carry this alone. At the water — or on the porch if the land calls for it — men sit side by side and say out loud what they've only thought in private.

04
Legacy
The Cross

What a man leaves his children matters more than what happened to his marriage. The Cross station is where a man stops looking at what he lost and starts asking what he still has to give.

05
Purpose
Trinity Lodge

A man without purpose drifts. Trinity Lodge is where the weekend closes — not with a goodbye, but with a sending. Every man leaves with a next chapter, not just a past to survive.

What It Costs You
$0
To the man who comes

The Foundation Weekend is fully donor-funded. A man in the middle of divorce has enough financial pressure. This weekend will never add to it.

How That's Possible

Donors build the place.
Men receive the gift.

Stonebreaker Ministries is built on the belief that restoration shouldn't have a price tag. Every cabin, every meal, every session is covered by people who believe in what happens here.

What we do ask: come ready. Show up with honesty. When God does something in you this weekend, let it stick.

We're Not Open Yet

The campus opens Summer 2027.
Your name matters now.

Here's the honest truth: the retreat center is still being built. The cabins, the lodge, the five stations — they exist on paper, in faith, and in the hands of donors who believe in what's coming.

But a man in crisis can't wait until 2027 to be seen. So we're opening the list now. Every man who reserves a place today gets a real response — not an automated email, but a person reaching out to walk with you until the doors open.

You're not on a waiting list. You're the reason this gets built.
